How the Program Works
Sarasota Trim Clinic's medical weight loss program is built around five straightforward steps — from your first consultation through ongoing support. Here's exactly what to expect.
Schedule a Free Telehealth Consultation
Book a call with a licensed provider at a time that works for you. No office visit needed. The consultation takes place over a secure video or phone call from wherever you are in Florida.
Most patients can schedule within a few days of requesting an appointment.
Provider Evaluation
Your provider reviews your health history, current medications, weight history, goals, and any relevant medical factors. This is a clinical evaluation — not a sales conversation.
Eligibility for prescription medication is determined here. Not every patient will qualify for GLP-1 medication, and your provider will be direct about what options are appropriate for you.
Receive Your Personalized Plan
If you're a good candidate, your provider creates a plan tailored to your situation. This may include medication, dosing guidance, nutrition education, hydration recommendations, and follow-up scheduling.
Plans vary. Some patients start at a lower dose and titrate over time. Your provider explains what to expect at each stage.
Medication Delivered to Your Door
Approved medication is dispensed and shipped directly to your Florida address — typically within 1–2 business days. Free shipping is always included.
You receive clear instructions on storage, preparation, and administration. Injection guidance is available from the care team.
Ongoing Provider Check-Ins
Your program includes scheduled follow-up care. Check-ins give your provider a chance to assess your progress, adjust your plan if needed, and answer questions about side effects, dosing, or next steps.
You can also reach the care team between appointments with questions or concerns.
What's Included in Your Program
Program elements may vary based on provider determination and individual health profile. Treatment subject to provider evaluation.
Process Questions
How long does the initial consultation take?
Consultations typically last 15–30 minutes. Your provider will ask about your health history, goals, current medications, and relevant factors to determine what options are appropriate.
What happens if I'm not eligible for medication?
Your provider will be straightforward with you. If medication is not appropriate for your situation, they'll explain why and discuss other options. Honesty about eligibility is part of a responsible medical program.
How often are check-ins required?
Check-in frequency varies based on your plan and progress. Most patients have scheduled follow-ups monthly or at dose-change intervals. Your provider determines the schedule based on your individual situation.
What if I have questions between appointments?
You can reach the care team with questions about side effects, medication storage, missed doses, or concerns. Do not adjust your own dosing without discussing it with your provider first.
Can I pause or stop the program?
Yes — but discuss any changes with your provider before stopping medication. Stopping GLP-1 treatment abruptly without a plan can affect your results. Your provider can help you transition responsibly.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
Program terms are discussed during your consultation. There are no surprise fees. Your provider will explain the program structure before you begin.
